Hmmm...
This site may well be a postmodern statment about the human condition in an internet-driven world. When data is identity, it says, it behooves us to speak in volumes, as completely and luxuriantly as possible. Every day, the limit on storage of information grows by the terabyte, and with broadband communication and increasingly effective search algorithms, every iota of that information is readily available to anyone who cares to read it.
The existence and widespread popularity of such a creation as twitter is evidence of something else entirely: either an epidemic lack of anything valuable to say, or the pervasive and neurotic fear that statements of any meaningful length will be ignored. Perhaps, indeed, we are so conditioned by the refrain of "tl;dr" that we rightfully believe that no one will bother with a lengthy analysis of our lives. Or worse, that it is not a matter of short attention spans, but of our own vapidness. That our input may not be too complex for the ADD-afflicted internet, but that it may in fact be too uninteresting to hold anyone's attention at all.
Woofer constitutes simultaneously an assault on this way of thinking, and a presented alternative. It is a demand that we not express ourselves in mere phrases. It is a full expression of the attitude that never uses one syllable when five will do, the attitude that knows the word to be what it is: the carrier of truth and expression, and the most effective way of transferring information as we understand it.

Or it may, after all, be a gigantic waste of time.
