Mr. Aubry Crews, age 68 of Vidalia, died Friday, November 13, 2009 surrounded by his family. He was a native Marshallville in Taylor County, but had lived most of his life in Toombs County. He was a carpenter, Baptist by faith, and a good friend to all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Lula Bloodworth Crews.
Aubry is survived by four children, Lawrence and Sheila Crews of Gray; Steve and Patty Crews of West palm Beach, Florida; Sidney and Julie Crews of Houston, Texas; and Heather Miller of Gray, five sisters, Audrey Hulett of Vidalia; Ruby Denmark of Macon; Bobbie Pittman of Vidalia; Hazel and Hector Reyes of Whiton, California; and Alice and Howell Crowe of Johnson’s Corner, one brother, Ray and Claire Crews of Macon, five grandchildren, one great-grandson, twenty-one nieces and nephews, and a loyal friend Hugh Rolison.
